The Yellow Ribbon/Bow (Japanese: リボン (黄) Ribon (ki)) is an item in Nintendogs and Nintendogs + Cats that falls under the category of Accessories in the Supplies. It is a headgear accessory that the player can put on their pets. There is also a red counterpart.
In Nintendogs, these items are known as Ribbons, however in Nintendogs + Cats, they are renamed to Bows.

- Nintendogs: "This simple design suits both boy and girl pups. The basic ribbon comes in two colors."
- Nintendogs + Cats: "This simple design will look great on both puppies and kittens."
How to Obtain[]
- In Nintendogs, the Yellow Ribbon can be obtained by purchasing it in the Pet Supply. It cannot be found on walks. It sells for $2.40 at the Secondhand Shop.
- In Nintendogs + Cats, the Yellow Bow is exclusive to French Bulldog & New Friends and can be obtained by purchasing it in Coletta. In other versions, however it can be obtained via StreetPass or the Pedometer after 2,000-2,999 steps. It sells for $1 at the Secondhand Shop.
