Trivia[]
- The majority of characters in Nintendogs are neighbors, with the exception of characters that the player only meets in competitions. In Nintendogs + Cats, there are retail workers to change this dynamic slightly.
- The neighbor will only have "stern words" if the player doesn't pick up their dog's poop, or when they take it on a walk while it's famished or parched.
- When giving advice, the neighbor gives out tips on how to play the game rather than giving random advice.
- In Nintendogs + Cats, the conversations have more topics.
