The Bubble Blower/Bubbles (Japanese: しゃぼん玉 Shabontama) is an item in Nintendogs and Nintendogs + Cats that falls under the category of Toys in the Supplies. It is simply a bubble wand that the player can blow into into using the DS/3DS microphone and bubbles come out of it. However, it will decrease the player's Trainer Points if a bubble pops.
In Nintendogs, puppies that are scared of the Bubble Blower can be encouraged to interact with it if the player blows into the microphone first without holding the wand. Puppies that would otherwise bark at the toy should instead start to act playfully and attempt to catch the bubbles. Once they are preoccupied, the player can then freely move the wand around. It appears the puppies become afraid again if they notice the player holding the wand, however, so they have to be kept distracted with more bubbles.

How to Obtain[]
- In Nintendogs, the Bubble Blower is a starter item. However, it can also be found very commonly on walks as a present. It sells for $1 at the Secondhand Shop.
- In Nintendogs + Cats, Bubbles can be purchased at the menu BARC for $7. It sells for $3 at the Secondhand Shop.
