- In Nintendogs, the Ten-Gallon Hat can be found uncommonly on walks as a present. It sells for $14 at the Secondhand Shop.
- In Nintendogs + Cats, the Safari Hat can be unlocked at the Mountains BARC for $50 after reaching 5,400 Owner Points or playing for 20 days. It sells for $20 at the Secondhand Shop.
