The Bookcase (Japanese: 本棚 Hondana) is a furniture item in Nintendogs + Cats that can be placed in one of the four corners of the player's home. Cats can sit on it, and dogs can observe it by standing on their hind legs, looking at it or smelling it.
In all three versions, it is readily available.
