The Combat Copter (Japanese: コンバットヘリ Konbattoheri) is an item in Nintendogs and Nintendogs + Cats that falls under the category of Toys in the Supplies. The player can control this helicopter toy and go into first-person view, giving the player an interesting view of the room. This helicopter toy is one of two, the other being the RC Helicopter.

Both puppies and cats will interact with the Combat Copter. Some pets will jump up to it, during which cats may do a backflip.

In-Game Description[]

  • Nintendogs: "This radio-controlled helicopter boasts a camouflage paint job."
  • Nintendogs + Cats:
    (NTSC): "Lift off with A in this limited-edition combat helicopter."
    (PAL): "Lift off at speed with A in this limited-edition combat helicopter."

Controls[]

Hold A to take off, the D-Pad (or Circle Pad on 3DS) to maneuver, and L (X on 3DS) to change the camera view.

How to Obtain[]

  • In Nintendogs, the Combat Copter can be found very rarely on walks as a present. It sells for $300 at the Secondhand Shop.
  • In Nintendogs + Cats, it is available at Mr. Recycle. The player needs to have enough materials to exchange. It sells for $80 at the Secondhand Shop.
